”Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. There was water in the mini fridge and a Nespresso machine for coffee. I would highly recommend the Housekeeping Team, they do an amazing job. We have been staying at Formby Hall for 20 years or so and the one thing that has let it down has been the food quality and breakfast service, so this stay we were very pleased to see the improvements made to the whole breakfast experience. ”What a great little gem this place is, from the moment I walked in I felt relaxed! Itaçh, the host was there to greet you (though there is no reception) and once I’d filled in a form in the lounge I was shown to my room and he even carried my bag to my room. The whole place was very well presented and I truly enjoyed my short stay. And a great plus was the train station was a mere 5 minute walk from/to the hotel.”

”Josie was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and couldnt do enough. We were offered a much needed hot drink on arrival which was brought to our room. Our room was very clean, more than enough tea, coffee etc, it even had dressing gowns. Little touches of Usb points on plugs and even a little chocolate each. We felt veey welcomed.”
