”Great location, wonderful friendly staff, comfy beds, plenty of parking and great breakfasts. Only downside was the height of the bathroom ceiling, but we were in the loft space with a great view of the river.”

”The only negative aspect of the stay was parking, given that you advertise free parking and the picture shows a large parking area. Otherwise a cute room with enough of what I needed for a night away. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, thank you all”

”We have stayed here 3 times now. It is a great value for a short stay near Exeter. It may look basic but the rooms are clean and tidy and a good breakfast too. Easy access to M5 and 10 mins drive into Exeter. Free parking.”

”The lobby, bar and restaurant have an elegant and timeless feel. I loved relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea and a book. The room was large but my air conditioner didn’t work and the bed felt worn/old. I mentioned it to the desk and they put a mattress topper on the bed which really fixed the issue. The windows opened and in late August with the fan in the room - I was comfortable. The comfort of the rest of the hotel and the fantastic sauna, pool and hot tub made up for the bed and air...

”The Devon Hotel is very easy to find - located just off a roundabout (with excellent Teslas charging nearby). Perfect for travelling off to the Torbay area.Although near the road, the hotel is quiet. Lots of parking, but does get busy in the week evenings. Superb breakfast and really helpful friendly staff. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water and everything working as expected. So I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would happily rebook if I visit this area again. ”
