”Thank you for a wonderful stay! ”We came into the area for the Haltfield and McCoy Half Marathon. It was conveniently located to the race finish and the packet pickup. Otherwise, it would have been an hour drive from Pikeville or Logan, WV. It was charming and just perfect for our needs. The bonus was allowing dogs to stay on the premises. The train didn’t bother us at all.”

”We’ve been coming to HMT for about 6 years. The house was great. Clean. Well maintained. Host was readily available for any and all questions. Self check in. Love the central location between all of our normal trails. I gave it a 4 star over all because although it had free wifi there was no cellular service. For some of our crew it was difficult to keep in touch with family. The other issue was the couches were too low for our crew. I know they change to beds but sitting in them was difficult...
