”Our family absolutely loved Koora Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely cared for by the staff (especially Jason who has already reached out to me in advance to understand our arrival time) and fell in love with the setting, which is nestled beautifully into the mountain forest. The service was impeccable, and the view overlooking the Monteverde cloud forest from the restaurant was truly epic. ”Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!”

”Hotel Belmar was the perfect place to stay in Monteverde. Since we were working remotely for most of our trip, the meeting rooms and Wi-Fi were excellent—quiet, comfortable, and reliable for video calls. The biggest surprise was the birdlife around the hotel. We actually saw more birds from the terrace than on some of the wildlife tours we took. ”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”

”Very nice hotel, beautifully decorated, beds and pillows very comfortable. We only stayed one night but it was a pleasure. Staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Appreciated that you ordered off a menu and not just a buffet. But. They also had buffet items out like cereal, fruit and bread. Overall wonderful experience.”

”We visited Monteverde in the end of our vacation and it was definitely the right decision. Service was very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and large, but cold, especially at nights. I think this was the best hotel for our purpose to visit the Monteverde forest area and there were also easy bus connections to Santa Elena. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious!”

”Gorgeous property with a few walking trails and complimentary access to the nature reserve where we spotted monkeys and toucans!! Room was clean and they provided a bottle of complimentary champagne for our anniversary. On site restaurant was delicious. We especially loved roasting s’mores at night. Incredible stay can’t wait to return”

”Clean and quiet; friendly and professional staff; pretty good breakfast, included. Opening/closing bathroom sliding door was a little difficult because no knob. Also heavy front room door had no knob in the inside so it was a little difficult to open it from inside.”

”What a unique stay! Bungalows are in the woods surrounded by nature. We felt secluded and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. The hiking trails were wonderful, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bungalows are clean and modern and come with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Also conveniently close to restaurants and shops. Loved it!”

”Check-in was smooth and easy with a welcome drink. After checking in, we walked to our rooms and found it to be spacious and nicely furnished, however the interior seems a bit outdated with wooden panel walls that has a old funk. We noticed the towels and shower robes also smelling like it. Given we are in/near nature, there were plenty of bugs outside the perimeter as well as some creepy crawlers inside.
