”Beautiful experience, hotel was clean and unique surroundings, people were nice and helpful.”

”We had a great stay at Valle Escondido. Our room was very clean and the view was great. We got to see a lot of wildlife right by the building we were in because the resort was less busy in the rainy season, and we got lucky with the weather. We really enjoyed our night hike on the trails on the property - only wish it were longer! Overall, a great stay. Food was good although variety is a bit limited in the off season.”

”Wonderful hotel close to everything and the staff, especially Mateo and Jessica in the restaurant were nice.”

”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”

”Garden style”

”Staff super helpful. Because I am direction challenged, I had a problem with finding the exact location. GPS was not helpful either. Signs point in general direction but I still needed to ask a few local people.”

”No words I can write could ever do this place justice. The views are unbelievable and the amenities in the room go above and beyond expectations! There were umbrellas, card games, a telescope for looking at the stars, an outside lounge net, a hot tub on the balcony, and even the shower had a window with an amazing view! Alex was so welcoming and friendly! He recommended the best dining spots and brought us on a night-walking tour and a guided tour of the Monteverde Hanging Bridges!”

”Great experience here. Only reason for the 4 star overall was because the price is high for what you get, the free breakfast was very limited due to the season we went and the jacuzzi’s were under maintenance so couldn’t be used.”

”We visited Monteverde in the end of our vacation and it was definitely the right decision. Service was very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and large, but cold, especially at nights. I think this was the best hotel for our purpose to visit the Monteverde forest area and there were also easy bus connections to Santa Elena. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious!”

”The hotel has the right kind of luxury for Monteverde, not flashy or high-tech, but everything is clean and nice, staff is helpful, the location is great and the place is beautiful. The sauna and the jacuzzi are GREAT, and we had monkeys crossing the trees above us while we relaxed there; the food is delicious. We loved our stay!”

”Super hôtel dans un coin calme avec tous les services dont on a besoin. Le personnel était adorable, le déjeuner excellent. Tout était parfait”

”10000/10 Javier was a wonderful host, would highly recommend. He was very accommodating, very helpful with local suggestions. We had issues finding the location, he even went to go find us. Absolutely wonderful experience. The dome was one of the coolest experiences we’ve had yet.”

”We stayed for three nights. The rooms were spacious, clean, with comfortable beds. The staff is amazing (I’d like to call out Adonis who is part of the dining/bar staff) and very helpful. The breakfast is also really nice. It is conveniently located a short walk from the town center. Overall, ticked all the boxes.”

”Great rustic vibe, we saw a lot of wildlife right outside out door”

”This place is luxury in paradise. The setup with 3 bedrooms, open kitchen/living, and all the touches is amazing. The waterfall in the living room was an awesome touch, my 7 year old son loved it! The yard is well kept and great to play and hang during the little off time we alotted in Monteverde. The location is also awesome, with the night tour in Wildlife Refuge Monteverde being one of our trip highlights. It's a five minute walk from the house and a must do! My family with 3 kids would...
