”Me and my Fiancée recently had the pleasure of staying at Forest Park Country Hotel, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, surrounded by stunning countryside that makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were warm and welcoming. ”Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not...

”Akshae was wonderful at check-in. V friendly and helpful. The second chap sorry i don't know his name was excellent when the room wouldn't open. No hair dryer or plug sockets nr the bed. Sheets just lie on the bed. Not fitted. Team lovely. Location great. Tried to call 3 times before stay but no pick up or ability to leave a call back message. ”

”So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical. Definitely worth an annual visit ”

”A real treat for us as we don't normally go for places like this. Wonderful building and an excellent 2 night stop-over on a week long tour. Everything you might expect from such a hotel and the thing we will remember most were the staff. It is clear that the training regime is first class and this showed throughout.”

”Very small car park and was a problem on arrival , no spaces . Is sorted by staff but does seem a constant problem. Will definitely go back , views amazing, spa lovely, come home feeling totally relaxed ”
