”It is so different than any other plaze I know or been to! It's not quite hotel, hostel or motel, it's more like own room with common facilities like kitchen and toilets. Really old building but in great condition! I like it very much and I do recommend to stay here! It was pretty easy to find with gps/map!”

”I loved everything about Kilauea Lodge. The lush rain forest surrounding the lodge, the relaxing and soothing hot tub, our very comfortable and spacious room and the delicious dinner at the lodge restaurant. We had a wonderful time!”

”We loved our stay at Kehena house! We were greeted by Stephen when we arrived and given a quick tour. They were hosting a Pride potluck that day and he kindly invited us to come eat and join in as guests of the house. Everyone we met was friendly and we felt safe to be ourselves. In the room, there was a list of unique weekly activities and opportunities near by, which made the experience feel even more welcoming. The property is *amazing*. ”The staff was so friendly. There were lots of animals: peacocks, cats, frogs, geese. We loved it! We booked it to be closer to Volcanoes National Park, without realizing there was no road that cuts across. We had to go amidst to Hilo in order to go back down to the Volcanoes, so it wasn't the most convenient, but we loved the vibe!”

”Staff are very friendly. Conveniently located in the park, so easy access to hiking. We had amazing views of the volcano eruption during our stay! Restaurant and gift shops on-site are very convenient. Highly recommend!”

”We stayed here for almost two weeks. Kelly was amazing. She was always whipping up different types of breakfasts. She was so cute and so talkative. Her food was really good. (If you are like me however, ask for pancakes or french toast or crepes) she loves to cook Mexican style breakfast but it didn’t always sit right with me. ”We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy.
