”It's unfortunate this hotel isn't really up to standards for the price they want. Cheap soaps, no products, dirty floor (in my room), rusty toilet paper holder. I dont think the stairs ha e been vacuumed in quite some time. There was a phone in the room that didn't work to call the front desk. It's a bit more run down than advertised, to say the least. And, the restaurant was closed for "rennovations" for quite some time. That should've been explained in advance. A big disappointment. ...

”Our whole stay was beyond exceptional. We stayed here for a wedding on Seneca Lake. The history of the place was very interesting and informative. The atmosphere was remarkable, quiet, unique and serene. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Owners, Jean and Mike, were wonderful people to meet and talk to. The Brunch was unique and delicious. Very clean rooms in the whole place. ”

”Our visit to The Painted Porch was fantastic. The home, neighborhood and time of year made for a perfect getaway with our dogs. We enjoyed the historic nature of the property, and appreciated that it was well appointed, maintained, clean and comfortable for modern life.
