”I stayed at RACV Goldfields resort for 1 night as I was in Ballarat for the marathon. I couldnt believe the size of the room when I opened the door, it was huge, it even had a spa bath! I had to go back into my emails to check how much I paid for the night, as surely I paid much more than what I thought! But no, it was so reasonable priced for the room I was given. The beds were huge, it was all so clean. The beautiful pool was warmed just right, the under cover spa was amazing. All perfect for...

”The room was nice in terms of its layout and aesthetic but the fridge was humming loudly all night (I turned it down to the lowest setting but didnt help much) and there is an aircon unit or something right behind the bedroom wall when your head is while in bed. That was noisy and annoying. So I didnt really have a relaxing time, despite the environment. ”

”Spa was a bit too cool, bedroom air conditioner was far too noisy to use. Pool in general was very shabby, Spa Pool ladder was dangerous & needs fixing immediately.”

”What was on the Internet not the same as experienced, Take "breakfast included" Is fruit juice, cereal, fruit and coffee/tea considered a breakfast? I doubt it. This outlet on market for past two years and it was noticable. Weeds outside and inside very run down. The whole area totally "unloved" I think owners should sell and cut their losses and let someone take over and run correctly as a B&B. Service non existant and it took two phone calls to find out what was happening with our booking. Saw...

”The property is absolutely beautiful, the service outstanding and a true exquisite boutique hotel experience. We especially loved sitting around the fireplace in the lounge at night and the incredible breakfast in the most gorgeous dinning room. Perfection ! ”

”The aspect was serene and made you feel part of the wild Australian bush, with expansive hillside slopes and swaying trees, cows on the hillcrest and the sun streaming down through the valley; yet just off the road for access. It was a fantastic way to feel isolated in a calm, luxurious cocoon with 6 places to sit, lie, bathe and relax in a beautifully compact space inside but also connect to the outside on the deck for champagne or private bath overlooking the valley.
