”Had a four day break with parents, the cottage was spotless on arrival and well equipped. The wifi was occasionally sporadic but to be expected in a rural area.
We slept well with no passing traffic and even with four adults there was ample hot water.Lots of seating and although weather was poor the outside seating area was great . Small downside was the property can be rented alongside next door(semi detached) , there is a locked interconnecting door but the noise can carry through a little .”

”Apologies to the knights rest, but we didn't actually stay there. I booked it on the day for 2 nights through hotels.com. However ten minutes before arriving at our destination the hotel rang me to say that they were closed and on holiday themselves. They apoligised and said hotels.com should have checked their diary and not booked any rooms out. They would be putting in a complaint via Expedia. Have since tried to contact hotels.com to be constantly told by a virtual agent to hang tight,...

”Absolutely superb - couldn’t fault it ! Clean, perfect for the dogs with the paddock - we can’t think of anything to improve it . The owner was very friendly and helpful . They have thought of everything to make our visit like home ! Thank you ”

”Spent the weekend here with friends for my birthday. Really lovely place, large and spacious...looks better than it did in the pictures. We loved the large kitchen and conservatory. It had all the amenities one would need.
The property managers were very responsive via email and text. Our only let down was that the hot tub had broken down.”

”The bedroom was a beautiful room but a bit tired but it seems the rooms are being updated,the en suite had been already.What makes The Old Ship Aground stand out head and shoulders are the staff,every single member of staff was delightful,they were happy and took an interest in each guest,never experienced it anywhere before. We will definitely be returning soon,amazing situation by the harbour,like a little village on its own although Minehead is only a 10 minute walk.
