”I visited this property about 5 years ago and since then it has gone through a beautiful renovation....our room had a stunning view of the lake, the room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had cooked breakfast which was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. Would definitely recommend.”

”Best spa i have ever been to. Been to alot of spa's up the north of england but this one blows them all away, low wood offers a budget and more exclusive packages that suit your needs. All areas were clean to a high standard and the on site resturant and bar are a bonus. Breakfast was more than what most places offer. ”

”The hotel was bright and fresh and with easy access to the town and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. The weather unfortunately was not great but still had a great lake view. Great breakfast.”

”Beds are so comfy , had the best nights sleep . Close to walk into the town. The owners of the little bar and restaurant were incredibly helpful and friendly , and the food was excellent . We will be returning ”

”We had a lovely stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, we upgraded our room to Super Deluxe which was very spacious and had a great view of the lake. A card was left in our room wishing us a happy anniversary which was a nice touch. Perfect location, breakfast was good and staff were exceptional. Our room wasn’t ready until 4 which is what the hotel states as check in time, this is a bit later than most hotels but we enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited. Overall a lovely relaxing stay and...

”Receptionist chap. Was v patient. We swapped rooms 2 times and settled on the 3rd. Wish was fantastic. Bar staff were great too. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening but breakfasts were great”

”Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a spacious room with a large window seat. Loved the bathroom towels which were big and very thick. The bar and dining areas are very inviting. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Wish we were staying longer! ”

”I booked this hotel as a romantic getaway for my partners birthday we stayed in a superior room with a sea view and it was exactly that, absolutely beautiful views the room was small but cosy the bed was more than big enough, and the staff were lovely and nothing was too much hassle. The place itself is beautiful and reasonably priced breakfast was included and we were asked then night before roughly what time we would like it. It was a help yourself full English buffet with a wonderful...
