”Hot tub was great, good temperature, clean tub and space surrounding it .was clean we were above the rear car parking space but this did not impact us at all ..we only ate in cocktail area . Food fresh hot and tasty ,service was excellent. Staff attentive ,friendly and accommodating . Room clean spacious and comfortable. ”

”Room had great views. Generally clean although the electric heater had accumulated lots of dust which was not good for me with dust allergies. Breakfast was good. ”

”I had a very comfortable stay. The room was a generous size with an excellent bed, and I appreciated the in-room touches—tea and coffee, a fridge, and a smart TV with iPlayer and Netflix. Parking spaces at the front were difficult to get, but the overflow car park at the neighbouring hotel is just a short walk away and worked well for me. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience.”

The room could of benefitted from having lampshades on the wall lights, there was a rouge hair in the bath and the dressing gowns were washed with too much detergent, thus not as soft as you might expect for five star accommodation, At the time of booking a table, the menu differed considerably from that seen online, in addition to the price having been increased. ”What a fabulous place to stay in lovely Bowness on Windermere. Chris and Vicky are so friendly, they were so helpful and accomodating to any requests, communication prior to check in was superb. Our room was beautiful, a gorgeous view over Lake Windermere, wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, fab hot shower, really clean and comfortable.
