”mostly positive stay at this hotel. Although parking was quite tight, I managed to find a space without too much trouble. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the room was clean, tidy, and free of any odours. The shower was a highlight—powerful with impressively hot water. My only real complaint is that the floors were extremely creaky throughout the building, which could be a bit distracting. ”

”We used this as a "break" in the journey up North, so turned up, stayed and carried on driving the next morning, but there were no complaints at all. Food was good next door at the Harvester.”

”Duds a full refit plaster coming off walls wires coming out of walls room was not ready when arrived ask to look at rooms they where in clean then they asked to come back in a hour as they got a family room ready for us so left and when somewhere else!!!! Should not bee open or a be advertised ”

The pub next door serves good food and offers friendly service. We will certainly be making a return visit and would recommend Stables to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway”
