”I stayed overnight at CrossBasket Castle with my boyfriend as he received a generous voucher for the Michel Roux Jr tasting menu. The hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. The food is exquisite and it’s possibly one of the finest cheese boards we have ever had. Look forward to retuning one day.”

”Very nice hotel but a little to hip for my taste. It is not warm or welcoming. You check yourself in at a computer and print your own key card. Not the greatest feeling after a long stressful day of travel. You control your room and basically your whole stay with an ipad. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast staff was extremely nice.”

”Olin aluksi hieman pettynyt, koska alue oli hieman mieluinen ja huone oli kellarissa. Toisaalta esim silitysraudan puuttuminen ei haitannut koska naapurin pesula silitti paidan todella halvalla. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja sijainti on hyvä. Hinta oli aika kova (melkein 200 euroa yö) varsinkin kun jotkut samaan aikaan Glasgowssa olleet ystävät olivat saaneet hienompia huoneita melkein puoleen hintaan. Voi olla että hotels.com on vetänyt minun kohdallani rahaa välistä. ”
