”The property was very clean. There are plenty of towels and the kitchen is very well stocked. If you need an appliance, it's probably in the kitchen. The yard was well kept as well. The only down side was that it isn't as close to the water as we had expected. You can see the river, but to get to it, you basically need to drive. And the confederate flag flying on the beach is a little disconcerting. It deterred me from going down there.”

”What a hidden gem of a place! A gorgeous river cottage overlooking the St James River. Grateful to be immersed in a natural rural atmosphere and also so close to many things to do both at the cottage and near Williamsburg. We swam, walked the beach, kayaked and fished! A magical sun rising over the StJames River takes one’s breathe away! I understand why people come back here. It’s a very special place. Reminds me of being on a lake which reminds me of my childhood! The Ferry is close, free...

”Wonderful place for family fun. From the arcade to the pool table, to the fire pit and the board games, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was in a beautiful area, quiet and open. Phones and TVs were not a priority. The host was accessible and helpful, and the quarters were comfortable and clean. Wish we had more time to enjoy!! Highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future!!”
