”Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go. ”The villa is truly beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfasts are excellent. There is also the added advantage of plenty of parking. Our stay was only relatively short (4 nights) but we could happily have stayed at Hotel Villa Ciconia for several weeks. ”

”We enjoyed our stay very much! The owners were most friendly, told tips where to eat, shop, and suggested a lovely visit to the nearby hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoreggio, which could be reached by bus. Thank you very much your warm hospitality! Italian style breakfast was a nice bonus. Our apartment had very good air-conditioning, was spacious and stylish with cooking-facilities. Orvieto itself was just beautiful and cosy historic city, especially wonderful was the cathedral of Orvieto.”

"The hotel itself was lovely and surrounded by beautiful nature. However we were little bit disappointed that the spa was not included in the price of a normal room and the only option was to pay hundreds of euros more. Otherwise breakfast was nice and coffee really good. "
