”We enjoyed our stay at the Salty Mermaid very much. The room was clean and comfortable and Lisa and staff were so helpful with anything we asked. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint place right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. It’s at the top of our list for a getaway to the beach.”

”I will post pictures. The outdoor area was very nice and well maintained. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The inside was another matter. Peeling paint, rusty chairs and doorknobs, quick cheap fixes to electrical outlets and a bathtub that was so old that no matter how much it was scrubbed, the dirt would never come out. I doubt these fixes are up to code. One elevator was horrible...vinyl flooring that was coming up, puddles, dirty walls etc.

”Our only complaint is that our stay wasn’t long enough! Everything else was great! The place was super clean. Communication was great, they reached out to see if we would be there to check in before they left for the evening. We enjoyed everything about our stay!”

”This was a nightmare. The entire hotel is infested with cockroaches. The maid service was totally incompetent. We had to assist when and if we caught a cleaning lady and sweep our own floors and make our beds and ask multiple times for linens and bed sheets. No mops. No wiping of anything.
