”The cottage was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was so comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.”

”Beautiful property, in urgent need of maintenance and remodeling. Beds and mattresses are in very bad condition, carpets have had it. Only 5 AC equipped rooms. We got four of them and ACs were working on two of them.”

”Everyone was so friendly, not just in the Inn but the Village as a whole. The room was very comfortable, with only a short walk to the station, local walking spots & free on street parking straight across the road. We would come here again, thanks for a wonderful stay.”

”Second visit to the Swan with our dogs. The staff are very friendly, helpful and the dog friendly policy made travelling with two big dogs much easier. We ate in the restaurant: swordfish with ratatouille and a lovely freshly baked pizza… all great! A perfect stopping place in a picturesque village in the Cotswolds when we’re on our way home to Sussex.”

”I chose the Kings Arms for location and the olde worlde look of the rooms on their website. The location was perfect for our trip, however the hotel was not! Check in is at the bar - all ok. We were told no food being served on Friday night despite the website showing a bar b que style restaurant (the hotel info in the room said pizza but there was neither) They offered recommendations but we found our own. ”Prachtige locatie en uniek eeuwenoud pand. Het ontbijt was ook erg lekker en echt Engels. Helaas was het personeel bij de receptie slordig en weinig behulpzaam bij vragen. Heel teleurstellend ook dat toen ik een geliefde jas per ongeluk heb laten hangen bij vertrek, niemand me kon helpen. Telefonisch en per mail weinig respons gekregen en niemand van de schoonmaak had blijkbaar de jas gevonden. Balen en een slechte reclame. Verder een schitterend hotel maar verlies er geen spullen....”

”We were in room 8 which is a large room with 2 very comfortable chairs and a settee. The bathroom was also large and very clean. The room is north facing with a large window which you can open which meant that it was very cool during the recent hot weather; there was also a tower fan as the building has no air conditioning. It is at the back of the building so there is no noise from the road. Breakfast was good and the staff are very polite and helpful. Highly recommended.”
