”We enjoyed our stay at the Swans Nest. The location was super convenient yet quiet. Our room was spacious. When travelling to hot tourist spots don't expect your parking to be free, it just doesn't happen. Our parking was half price if you pay for it through the hotel instead of via the app on the signs. That was such a good deal! The restaurant and pub on sight are independent but they give you a discount and their food is good. It's a lovely and easy walk to the theatre and the whole town,...

”A good sized room with plently of space. Shower over the bath in the bathroom. Clean and comfortable room, as well as the rest of the hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful. The service and food in the restuarant for dinner and breakfast was very good.”

For those who are looking for air con, instant internet etc it probably is not for you but for the rest of us who like quirky, individual and very English it a 10. 2 best points are the staff who are quiet frankly brilliant, helpful, kind , funny and friendly and efficient. ”Absolutely stunning room with one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever had in a hotel (we stayed in a deluxe room). Breakfast was great, location was walkable to everything we wanted to visit. Did I mention the bathroom? Massive copper bath and a big shower.”
