”Dan was a great host and the breakfast each morning was amazing. It felt like we were in actual Hawaii and not just another tourist hotel. he also showed us around the property and took extra time sharing about Kona coffee and gave us some delicious fruit right off the tree. ”

”We had vacation plans change as storms on the island and at home changed our travel. IHG was available at very reasonable room rates. We were warmly welcomed and had great interactions with all staff members from the front desk to cleaners. The breakfast was good with nice options. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub was excellent! Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It was a very good stay—especially given the circumstances!”

”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”Beautiful ocean view room, but no AC, kitchen sink or tv despite being given kitchen towels & dish soap. Tarnished silverware in drawer to use…ew! TV for storm information would’ve been useful. AC would have made room more comfortable due to storm/rain making it impossible to leave windows open plus safety in sleeping leaving ground floor windows open & slider unsecure if left open. Roof tore off by storm during our stay. Had to evacuate but given no assistance in securing new accommodation nor...

”Room was 241 was horrible. When asked the owner to correct the issues They just accused us of insane things and ignored us. We paid to move respond. Expedia only reimbursed 1/2 because owner said they addressed it even though they didn’t. We had many pictures showing issues and zero attempt was made to correct it. Will we be use Expedia gain ”

Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. ”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...
