”The air conditioner in the room was very noisy. We turned it to economy cool and when it would turn on, it was so loud! Maybe update air conditioners with those quieter ones on the top of the wall? This is the only complaint. Great stay though!! Nice property!! ”

”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...

”I loved my stay in the bamboo cabin at Gingerhill Farms! The staff was so sweet and helpful and the cabin suited my purposes perfectly. The grounds are a gorgeous lush forest full of fruit trees that is so lovely to walk around. I would recommend it to everyone who has an appreciation of nature and the outdoors :) ”

”We booked this hotel because we wanted to see Manta Rays, although views vary between evenings based on waves. Don’t count on anyway that you can book a table with Manta Ray views. We booked, but the table was not kept to us. Otherwise the hotel is pretty average. Rooms are pretty simple and beds are small. Swimming pool is pretty nice, water slides good for small children. Service in the restaurant can be really slow when they have more customers.”
