”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”We had such a wonderful time while staying here. Location is 10 out of 10. You do not need a car ;restaurants, shopping and public transportation are within walking distance). A special THANK YOU and shout out to Tisha. She was the person who greeted us when we arrived and also the person who helped us with check out. Tisha was so pleasant to interact with and incredibly professional. This is a busy season and the front desk was super busy at all times. So we greatly appreciated the outstanding...

”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...

”I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. The cherry on top was finding we had a hot tub!”

”We booked this hotel because we wanted to see Manta Rays, although views vary between evenings based on waves. Don’t count on anyway that you can book a table with Manta Ray views. We booked, but the table was not kept to us. Otherwise the hotel is pretty average. Rooms are pretty simple and beds are small. Swimming pool is pretty nice, water slides good for small children. Service in the restaurant can be really slow when they have more customers.”
