”This was my second stay here. Location is convenient for me for visiting family, but I also enjoyed walking along the harbor and Shelter Island paths which are nearby. The room was clean and spacious (I chose a deluxe king this time) and the neighborhood feels safe--great for a solo traveler. Onsite parking is reasonable and convenient. I will definitely book here again for my next visit!”

”Wife and I both got food poisoning from the breakfast. One morning at 8 am someone from staff just barged in to the room even though DND sign was on door. Freaked us out, person ran from the room quick when he realized it was occupied. Hot water was out for two days. ”

”This property reminded me of an aging debutante who owns the family castle and reputation but cannot keep up with modern times…think Downton Abbey on a marina. From the reading room loft that you see when you walk into reception but the walls aren’t lined with old tomes; instead it’s just wall paper. The spa has limited, overpriced services- all co-ed. I heard someone say the bicycles you can rent aren’t well maintained and the restaurant, while it had good food, isn’t open on Sunday or Monday...

”Stayed at this hotel a few years ago. Since then, there has been made some renovations, mostly painting (elevator was still smelling paint so did wonder if it was still wet). Old worn out furniture. If you want housekeeping, you must ask for it the day before. Used to be ok during COVID, but nowadays that's just strange not to talk about that waiver they ask to sign at check-in! Breakfast mostly white and sugar, not a single protein containing item. Didn't try the pool, but it looked quite...
