”I love the property, the area, the care, the general amenities. Coffee service appears to be a bit problematic. I did ask for a coffee maker in the room, and was accommodated. The main coffee machine in the lobby does not begin service until 7:00, although many are up by 6:00. Another machine, in another building was out of service. People waited and waited. More coffee, please.”

”Perfect hotel for a getaway!! We enjoyed all the amenities & comforts of our stay! Our teens loved the BB court, cornhole, inside games, hot tub, swimming pool, large rooms, beautiful views, super close to everything! Staff was amazing…friendly, helpful & kind! ”Wife and I both got food poisoning from the breakfast. One morning at 8 am someone from staff just barged in to the room even though DND sign was on door. Freaked us out, person ran from the room quick when he realized it was occupied. Hot water was out for two days. ”

”I had such a wonderful stay at this resort! Everything was beautiful, peaceful, and very well taken care of. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. My favorite part was spending the evenings by the fire it was so cozy and calming under the night sky. It truly made the experience feel special. I would definitely love to come back again”

”Stayed at this hotel a few years ago. Since then, there has been made some renovations, mostly painting (elevator was still smelling paint so did wonder if it was still wet). Old worn out furniture. If you want housekeeping, you must ask for it the day before. Used to be ok during COVID, but nowadays that's just strange not to talk about that waiver they ask to sign at check-in! Breakfast mostly white and sugar, not a single protein containing item. Didn't try the pool, but it looked quite...

”The room was small but clean. There were extra charges for parking and pet fees extra from the room cost that were not said in the hotel website. They might want to update those things. ”

”Bathroom toilet had cigarette burn stains on the lid. No shower sprayer holder. Just hangs there. Dirty shower and bathroom is in major need to maintenance. Mirror looked to have graffiti On the that someone tried to clean. Bed is bad. Sinks in the middle. Overall spear the extra 20 dollars and stay at a hotel that keeps up the rooms. ”

”I was looking for a last-minute budget option- and that's exactly what I got. The property is dated and in dire need of some love- and they are actually doing some renovation! Literally from 7 am til 8:30 pm nonstop!!! ( I was in room 302, right above me.) The place is as clean as an old house can be, smells musky, but the bed is comfy, and the sheets are fresh. There was only one, very thin blanket on the bed - and the AC in the room was set to 60F when I arrived... The best part about the room...

”Hostel was well-kept and the bathrooms and kitchen were always clean. The lockers in dorms could be bigger, I would’ve liked more space to lock things up. 6 bed dorm felt too small and crowded with everyone’s bags and suitcases on the floor. It was ok for a short stay but I wouldn’t choose it again. The hostel is good option if you want to be seaside, it’s only steps away from the beach. Just know that without car you need to be catching buses or Ubers to go anywhere in San Diego, it’s not...
