Breakfast was ok. Since we had been on the road for almost two weeks prior to our arrival, Al insisted we use his washing machine to wash our clothes! ”The place is super clean and all new! It has two beds, a big TV on the wall, and a nice bathroom. The setup is minimal — no microwave, fridge, table, or chairs. A tiny investment in a small coffee table and basic coffeemaker would make a huge difference, especially since the restaurant opens only at 5 pm. Having fresh coffee in the morning would be really nice. The coffee at the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are very friendly.”

”This is an older property well maintained. You can feel the history in its building. The room I had was a double queen and had a sitting room. It's nice not to have to sit on your bed to watch tv. There was a tv in both the sitting room and the bedroom. The bathroom was very lux. High end finishes. The beds were comfortable with FULL SIZE pillows. Much appreciated. Am planning on returning soon.”

”Our stay was incredible. We were met by Kim when we arrived to check in and she was amazing. We upgraded our room, got extremely helpful advice and tips. We loved loved loved the warm chocolate chip cookies and had a great chat after supper sitting by the fire in the lounge. Kim gave us great information about the hotel and its family history, as well as some fun stories about hosting the hockey kids who come to play in town.
