”The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. ”This was our last stay before returning to Reykjavik to head home. Could not have enjoyed it more. The house is lovely but the best part of all was the transparent domes to sleep in and the covered terrace. Our last full day rained most of the day but we still enjoyed under cover, playing games, painting, relaxing and chatting by the gas fireplace. What a treat!”

”This place was WONDERFUL! Rob was a great and very communicative host, too! The only thing to know when renting this place is that you need to travel quite a ways on gravel roads to get to the house. Be sure to drive carefully and watch out for potholes and lots of sheep. Beyond that, this was a perfect south coast home base. We loved it here. The hot and outdoor space were both great! Nice views and so very quiet and peaceful! We’d definitely stay here again.”

”Our first night in Iceland was very enjoyable, staying at this lovely cabin. It was warm and cosy with welcoming fairy lights, a kind welcome gift and a comfortable sofa bed. "Everything was pretty much excellent. Super nice staff :) only few thing they could do better is related to the breakfast (which was included to the price that was also quite fine for Iceland): they could add labels to the foods. On the other hand there were a great selection of foods and also vegan options so I can only recommend this place highly."
