Matkat – Iglesiasin historiallinen keskusta

We stayed at Arbatax Hotel for four nights with my family and were given room 132 on the first floor. Unfortunately, I would definitely not recommend this particular room. Until around 11:30 pm, loud music from the restaurant downstairs could be clearly heard in the room. On two of the nights, we could also hear very loud music from what seemed to be a nightclub nearby, probably across the road, until around 3–4 am. This made it very difficult to sleep. The hotel has an old-fashioned style, and I appreciate that they have tried to preserve its original character. However, the bathroom was a major disappointment. The shower tray is only about 1 cm high, so when you take a shower, water flows out onto the bathroom floor and the entire toilet area becomes flooded. We reported this problem to reception on our first day. We explained that we could not properly use the bathroom when the whole floor was wet and asked either for the room to be changed or for the shower to be repaired. Unfortunately, neither request was accepted. Nobody came to inspect the problem. Instead, we were simply given some extra towels. This was particularly disappointing because we expected the hotel to take such a basic maintenance issue seriously. The safe in our room also did not work. Eventually, someone came to repair it and we were told that the battery was dead. When we asked why it had not been checked before our arrival, the response was that nobody had complained about it before, which I found

Decor in the hotel is from 1990’s but everything was kept in condition and the room and common areas were very clean. Outside the hotel the surroundings are not pretty at all, industrial area is close by and trashes were thrown around. Also not much to do in the surroundings but if you have a car it’s not too long to get to more beautiful areas.

Wir haben den Family Room gebucht. Die Zimmer und die Anlage waren sehr sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt! Das Personal war freundlich das Frühstück war für Italiener sehr gut. Wir haben dreimal das Abend Buffet gebucht und das Essen war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker! An der Strandbar und in der Poolbar war die Pizza top. Man muss allerdings ein Auto haben, wenn man etwas sehen möchte, da das Ressort etwas außerhalb ist. Zusammengefasst war es für uns als Familie, ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! SUP Fahrräder waren vor Ort und können kostenlos genutzt werden.
