”Amazing old castle! Very friendly and helpful staff. We love you! We spend one night in William Wallace room and it was really cool! Book it if you can. It is worth of every penny. The second night we were at regular room at ground level. It was clean and nice room. Lots of parking space. The Dungeon restaurant was very nice experience, food was very good. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choises. The castle grounds offers interesting hikes and beautiful scenery. It was A little far...

”The hotel was the perfect manor experience. The garden area and backyard was lovely. At the beginning of April, it was a little too cool to spend time sitting outside. The breakfast was not quite at the level I would have expected based on the rest of the experience. Quite a limited selection. The staff was very friendly.”

”Quick and efficient check in, stylish rooms, purpose built so quiet despite being close to the forth road bridge. 20 min walk to train station with 15 min journey into Edinburgh, or bus outside. Lots of free parking. Would definitely stay again.”

”September. Very cold in room on arrival. Bathroom newish, good towels. Room service worked well. Restaurant food good, but took a long time. Staff seemed confused, even more so at breakfast, which was otherwise excellent. Kippers should be served only outdoors - the smell is terrible!”
