”The hotel was the perfect manor experience. The garden area and backyard was lovely. At the beginning of April, it was a little too cool to spend time sitting outside. The breakfast was not quite at the level I would have expected based on the rest of the experience. Quite a limited selection. The staff was very friendly.”

”Hotelli sijaitsi mukavasti lähellä lentokenttää. Noin 10 min matka l.kentälle. Spa-osasto jäi testaamatta. Hinta-laatusuhde hyvä. Modernit huoneet vanhan tyyppisessä rakennuksessa. Erittäin rauhallinen yöpymisympäristö. Ravintolassa oli tylsältä vaikuttava pub-tyyppinen menu, mutta listalta umpimähkään valittu kala-annos oli valmistettu fressistä, vasta pyydystetystä fisusta.Nam. Ruasta arvosana 9. Ja se on paljon hotellin ravintoaruoasta.”

”This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family.”

”Upea kartanohotelli, jossa voi tuntea olevansa Agatha Christien romaanissa ruokasaleineen ja loungeineen. Tämä oli kuukauden matkani päähotelli ja olin siellä kaksi yötä. Vieressä oleva golf-kenttä luo lisätunnelmaa, vaikka ei lajia harrastaisikaan. Puutarhassa nautittu Pimm´s lemonade ja golfin äänet luovat suorastaan sporttis-aristokraattisen tunnelman. Täydellistä Skotlantia. Aamiainen tarjoillaan pöytään Haggiksineen ja pekoneineen.”

”A lovely little boat hotel! Beautifully renovated and tidy, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location is easily reached with tram or buses.”

”The heating in the room was turned way too high as we arrived, it was like a sauna, apparently to compensate for the cold weather outside :) Everything else went great; friendly staff, clean hotel, delicious breakfast.”

”September. Very cold in room on arrival. Bathroom newish, good towels. Room service worked well. Restaurant food good, but took a long time. Staff seemed confused, even more so at breakfast, which was otherwise excellent. Kippers should be served only outdoors - the smell is terrible!”
