”This was the perfect spot for our trip in Odawara! Not only are the staff incredibly kind and accommodating, they provide small touches that make their guests feel welcome, like inviting us to sit for tea upon arrival, the 24/7 complementary coffee/tea and the cozy pajamas. Just a short walk to everything we wanted! Under 10 minutes to many izakaya options for dinner, 24 hour onsen, train station and Odawara Castle! We recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone staying in the area!

”This place was amazing.
The room was big and we had a beautiful view on the back forest. We had two choices of Onsen (outside and inside) and both were very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond for us. Because there was not of other guest, we were able to have one side of the Onsen for us instead of being separated man and woman.
The night we had food at the ryoko was wonderful and te food was delicious. Our stay there truly was amazing and I would go back any...

”The hot springs were wonderful. There is a hotel around the corner that Okada shares use of the rooftop hot springs, and that is absolutely worth a visit. It was beautiful up there, albeit a little hard to find off the 8th floor side entrance and you walk up a hill to the other building. If you can spring for the room with the hot spring tub in it, def do that. We did this for our 2nd night there, and it was a big bonus to the experience. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. ”Musashino bekkan offered us a perfect ryokan experience. Travelling as a family with two younger kids, the hospitality was amazing. Our room was beautiful, with views to enjoy. Tea was always available in the room. The kaiseki style dinners were an experience themselves, fresh, amazing flavors, beautiful set up and we definitely were not left hungry. The kids were also taken into consideration very nicely. We enjoyed the onsen, very calm and relaxing!
