”The hotel is close to the Koen-Shimo Cable Car station so it is easy to reach. The staff was super friendly and helpful even though we don't speak Japanese and some of them didn't speak English. Big rooms and all the free drinks, snacks and pyjamas were a big plus! Room was super warm (maybe even too warm when we arrived) but you can manage the heater yourself.
Dinner and the Japanese style breakfast were delicious.
Great first ryokan experience for us! ”

”Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home.”

”This might be important t8 some people. This hotel is so called "love" hotel. So people can spend only 3 hours here if they wang. BUT! It doesnt show, okey, lamps in the room you can choose to be red and there is porn on tv. I did like this place a lot. Rooms were HUGE and internet excellent. We had karaoke stuff in the room also and jacuzzi. We didnt have a car so it was bit difficult just with the busses but just outside of the hotel there is stop and there stops "Hakone free pass" busses...

”Very clean and modern, in a great location for the Hakone loop. The beds are VERY uncomfortable- both the futons and the single beds which are soooo noisy it’s impossible to sleep because every time you breathe they creak. Apart from the very poor sleep, this place had everything you needed with a well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom.”

”The house was difficult to find and, as mentioned, had a steep hill to walk down. When we entered, it smelled strongly of gas as there were 3 gasoline jars directly inside the door. The smell gave all four of us a headache. Also, it was VERY cold, due to missing windows. The heaters were set at max and we were still very cold. Lastly, the floors are not stable. In the dining room, it felt like we were walking on cardboard, as the floor flexed and moved when we walked. ”

10/10 Loistava
