”Stayed at this hotel”

”This is a gem in the cute little village in Alford. The staff, rooms, bar and restaurant were all great. Highly recommend this hotel.”

”A nice hotel that just needs a spruce up. Basic room that had ‘old lady perfume smell’ but clean. Friendly staff. Limited bar. Small but adequate breakfast buffet. Looks more like a retirement home than a hotel.”

”A beautiful property. You can see they've really maintained the elegance of the house. There were just a few small things like the ceiling was a bit cracked, the faucet cap was missing, and the toilet needed to be pumped in order to flush. But the staff were great and the food was very good so all in all, I would recommend it as a place to stay.”

”All together a lovely place to stay with very welcoming hosts. thank you very much.”

”Amazing breakfast, lovely people, everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay again.”

”Very helpful staff. Beautifully maintained property. Very comfortable bed. Delicious restaurant downstairs. Convenient location. Easy onsite parking. Would definitely stay here again.”

”Our third stay in the apartment. As usual a very handy place in the centre of the Village. Lovely pub next door.”

”This was a fantastic place to relax, although a little dated the room was spotless and comfortable. The staff were marvellous and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t have breakfast but had lunch and dinner a few times, the food was delicious, especially the fish specials, they are definitely worth a try. You can sit outside in the evening and really enjoy the sea air, love this part of the world and the seal beach which is a short distance from the hotel.”

”Booked a twin and double room. Rooms clean and well appointed with a communal kitchen area for use by guests. Did not use breakfast service as we left in the morning before the hotel staff had arrived. Only small complaint was that the staff were unable to open the connecting door between the 2 rooms which would have made things a lot easier. ”

”Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.”

”Siivous ei ollut kovin perusteellista. Esim. edellisiltä unohtunut lasten hiuskoru oli sänkyni alla koko vierailun ajan. Sänky aika loppu ja yksi palanut lamppu juuri wc:n peilin kohdalla.”

”Amazing place. We had a very relaxing stay.”
