”Great staff, especially Abby at the front desk, she was instrumental in making sure that my room was clean and comfortable, she was very accommodating. Also due to my allergies, the cleaning staff made sure to vacuum my room thoroughly. Breakfast was great and the restaurant’s food was excellent! I enjoyed the bike ride! Thanks for everything, I will definitely return to stay at the Shade Hotel again!”

”First time using a hostel, reminded me of being in a military barracks. No frills but it was nice being right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and gift shops.
I was a bit confused by the address of the hostel. The uber driver took us to the address, or rather the block where it should have been, but it is actually on the next street north which doesn't have car access.
I would stay there again.

”Nice place near LAX. Checking in was quick and great. Lady was very helpful and kind. Room was clean, bed was nice and we sleep like a babies. Breakfast was great. Checkin out was quick. I recommend. One night stay. ”

”Good value for money and great location near Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. Easy access from the airport too. Plenty of stores, restaurants etc. around. If you’re gonna be out exploring during the day and don’t need hotel amenities, this is a good and safe option. ”
