”Love the history of the place! I grew up with the previous owners and had always known The Vurpillat as The Sea Sprite Apartments. I never knew the history of the building. I grew up in Hermosa and love knowing the historical elements of our little paradise. I love that the owners are renovating the property back to encompass the history. All the little details they have put into the place are amazing. Even down to having the history available to read, the old photos of the area. It’s cool to...

”The room I was assigned did not match the description of what I booked: King bed with full ocean view. As this was New Year's eve the hotel was full. I was given a discount on the room rate. Staff was apologetic.”
