”Cathy and Steve are so lovely- friendly and helpful. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. A perfect little retreat after walking the west highland way. Would definitely stay again. ”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maclean Guest House. We were able to easily walk there from the train station and to then walk to the downtown area where all the shops, cafes, etc were located. The room was quite large and exceptionally clean. It had everything we needed and then some! We highly recommend this place and would stay here again without hesitation.”
”The room was huge. It is an older room so the floors creak, which I did hear my neighbors walking around. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs which I decided not to eat at. Looked like it wasn’t very busy, so I drove into fort William which was about 15 minutes away and had more options for food. You have to check in at the castle down the road, staff was friendly. Bathroom had some gunk on the sink when I came in. It wiped right up. Overall great place and would stay again. ”

”Not worth of the money, not at all!
It might look nice in the pictures and from outside, but is is horrible inside. The smell in corridors is very damp and bad and how the rooms are renovated, it must be rotten inside the walls. The room was clean (that is the only thing done right), but the smell of damp is in the towels too. I´ve never been a hotel that had so worn out sheets (it has holes in it..)
All the sounds from the other rooms and corridor comes straight through the walls and...

”This is a great hotel, the rooms were very comfortable and quiet., we enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, lots of choice.
The location is great and an easy walk to the old town, there is a grocery store close by to pick up provisions.”
”Although this property is small, the people running it are big hearted.
We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture.
The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast with homemade everything....
