We stayed in a suite in the extra building on the property, not the main house. Only there for a couple of nights but staff were efficient and friendly, the rooms very clean. However the suite was very warm and stuffy, with no sort of ventilation or AC at all, and our king bed was two twin mattresses pushed together. Hotel bar and eating areas nicely furnished and comfortable, but I’d recommend going out for breakfast. Although complimentary, the food was poorly prepared/appeared cheap and pre-packaged, and there’s no real coffee. They stirred a teaspoon of instant into some hot water. Was expecting better quality for price. Probably would look for another stay next time, but comfortable and clean overall.

Hotel is in a quiet area of Inverness, requiring a car or taxi to visit the town centre. The hotel itself is an older, grander building with a newer (2006), annex. We stayed in the annex, which had lovely big and clean rooms. Bed was very comfortable, with a fridge, tea and coffee. Bathroom was huge with nice products and a great shower. We had breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious. Staff were all welcoming with a real family atmosphere and they couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely return and have no problem recommending the hotel to other travellers. Inverness is a great base to see the great glen and the north east coast.

Staff here was very nice. It is not walkable to downtown Inverness but if you have a car it works well. Good breakfast options and room was nice size. We stayed in the new building, only complaint was that there was a green safety light above the window that shown brightly the entire night and kept us both up. UGH!

Hotellet er litt langt unna sentrum så passer best for de med bil. Skuffet over at ikke restauranten er åpen, men forståelig på denne tida av året. Hyggelig betjening og fint rom.

인버네스 시내에서 좀 멀어서 차나 택시가 필수예요. 리셉션이 있는 건물은 중세건물로 운치있어 좋았고, 객실이 있는 곳은 옆에 새로지어진 굉장히 현실적(?)인 건물이었습니다. 정원과 조식을 먹는 가든은 이뻤어요. 조식 맛은 그냥 보통입니다. 직원분이 친절하긴하나 교육은 안받으신 직원인 것 같고, 객실건물은 한층 이동해야하나 엘레베이터는 없습니다. 객실과 욕실은 넓은 편이고 라지에이터도 따뜻했어요

A very nice hotel. Had everything we needed except....air conditioning during some pretty warm times in Scotland. I did not want to open a window since no screen was present on the window. A fan was provided which helped some but a long hot night. I understand the air conditioning is not preset on most hotels in the Highlands. Everything else is fine.

The staff was very friendly and helped arrange transportation into town. This hotel is about a ten minute drive away from everything. The room was very large and clean.

The staff were great and went over and above my expectations to assist with dinner bookings taxi reservations etc The breakfasts were a bit hit and miss depending upon which chef was working.

Excellent service and management. The staff was helpful, accommodating, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The location is very convenient if you want to stay in Inverness but not right in the busy city area. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. Inverness is a beautiful city. The staff at Lochardil House were wonderful. They went above and beyond to help us The breakfast served in the conservatory was the best since I’ve been on my holiday (3 weeks) The only negative is the size of the room: really small

Die Zimmer im Haupttrakt sind schön gehalten, man merkt das Alter in gewissen Punkten (zB Wasserhahn, -druck), das tat der tollen Erfahrung aber keinen Abbruch. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt sehr!

Ein schönes, ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit einer persönliches Note und tollem Service. Das Zimmer 7 allerdings hat innerhalb des Gebäudes keine gute Lage. Man hörte die Lüftungsanlage der Küche. Frühstück gibt's idyllisch im Wintergarten.

Peaceful stay
Lovely stay, excellent staff. Quiet and peaceful. Note that they only serve breakfast and it is not walkable to restaurants. But the staff was so helpful in arranging taxis for us as well as helping us get takeaway food delivered one night. Even gave us plates and cutlery to eat in the dining room.

Outstanding customer service
Our family traveling with us loved staying in the main building. We stayed in a large family room in the separate building. Husband had to take a work meeting and wifi is not great in the separate building so the manager set him up in a room in the main building for his meeting. The breakfast is amazing. Daughter was sick so stayed in bed and they let me do a takeaway container for her as well. Wonderful customer service here.

We loved it at Lochardil. The only recommendation for improvement is the water pressure. The room and bed comfort were perfect.

It was a charming bed and breakfast nice large rooms and baths beautiful atrium for breakfast and staff very kind. We walked down town along the water way and it was a lovely walk nice area to visit and many restaurants to choose from be sure to make reservations! everything was busy.

Check in was a bit odd but they got it done. Room was big (we had 3 people) and garden house annex was very modern - not sure it matched the property and neighborhood but it was nice. Staff and breakfast were fantastic although I didn’t much like to have to take a very early or very late breakfast time due to a tour bus group. Overall excellent time and I would stay here gain!

The breakfast and service was lovely but I paid to stay in the main house and we were put in an adjacent building which was definitely not worth the high cost of the stay. It was very modern and lacked charm.

Overall a nice place to stay the night on our road trip. Breakfast was great! Our room’s shower didn’t hold a steady temperature. Room was clean. Easy access via taxi or car to other parts of the city.
