”We ordered a king bed but received 2 full size beds.. we asked hotel staff and they told they did not have any king beds. The breakfast area was nasty. There was a grill outside that had been used and now looked like trash.. staff seemed bothered when we arrived . I won’t stay there again. ”

”The property itself is worth the trip. A breathtaking escape from the everyday. The beds were outrageously comfortable and the view from the window was to die for. We ended up in an ADA accessible room, so the shower head was pathetic and the water pressure wasn’t great. We tried the bar and grill and the food was fantastic, though the service was slow. The indoor and outdoor hot tub were both functional and fantastic. However, It threw me off that the indoor-outdoor pool was open to the outside...

”Our experience in downtown Sutton was interesting! We arrived at the Elk River Hotel an hour before check in time, so we called the number that was left at the desk. No answer, so we walked to the Braxton Bistro for lunch. Was disappointed that we couldn’t order a beer after our long drive, but our food was good. We stopped at the General Store on the walk back and picked up some great finds at a reasonable cost! Disappointed that the Big Foot museum was closed on Sunday. A man was waiting for...

”The heat was not on in the room but didn't take long to warm up. Friendly staff. I loved the restaurant next door on my last trip there but it is closed now so had to go into town for dinner. ”
