”Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

”We booked last minute to stay local for our son’s football event, and we had such a wonderful stay that we are already looking to come back. The local area is beautiful, especially Ironbridge. We ate dinner at the hotel and were so impressed that we personally thanked the chefs. Frankie, Chris, Carl, and Brad — you did an amazing job. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection, the mussels were delicious, and our son even loved the pizza from the children’s menu. Dom was working behind the bar...

”The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...

”We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location was excellent, even though there are 120 steps to get upto the apartment. But the views are well worth it. We chose the location for the history in the town and to be close to the Severn Valley Railway. The apartment was well equipped, with everything you needed. One thing I would suggest and that is to have more hanging facilities for clothes in the bedrooms. It was fine for 3 nights, but if you were there longer, you would need somewhere to put...

”We stayed for a night - beautiful room, comfortable bed and relaxing stay! Beautiful breakfast in the morning too, friendly staff and perfect location! The only thing for me was the stain on the bathroom floor. Thanks for a lovely stay ”

”Lovely location and views of the Severn from the front of the property. Staff were lovely and helpful. The wifi was patchy so the tv was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but very nice when it arrived.”

”Hi, we really enjoyed our stay at The Globe House in the Legges Hill bedroom. It had everything we needed and the bathroom is simply amazing! Regarding breakfast we would suggest more of a selection of cereals and perhaps some fruit juices and yoghurts in the fridge. We will definitely recommend this as a great place to stay in a lovely location, convenient for all that Ironbridge has to offer. Thank-you… Sue and Roger ”

”Picturesque location. Bar and restaurant were very busy but staff were very efficient. Noisy when we went to bed but to be expected given the packed bar.”

”The rooms were clean and comfortable and belied the rather inauspicious entrance out the back of the pub. There were little touches (water, coffee/tea and biscuits) that made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfy.”

”We have previously stayed up in room 8 at the top of the property where it has been a lot quieter . This stay we were facing the outside of the seating area where we were not able to sleep because of chatting till 02-30 . This was on the Friday night 22/5/26. Bathroom not cleaned properly scum marks in bath and sink. Bath took along time to drain after a shower and all dirty particles in bath after eventually draining . I like the Swan Tap but was disappointed this time .”

”Ideal situation to see Iron Bridge and visit museums. Although on the down side there were lots of stairs to our room . The room was clean and beds comfortable but we found it a bit cold . The staff were very friendly and helpful .”
