”We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

”So called “family room” was the size of a shoebox. Barely enough room for the two of us. Sandwiches, as promised, not available for diabetics until 2300. Useless. Had to find a local shop. Staff were very pleasant.”

”Carpet has never been cleaned. Shower drainage blocked. The door key snapped when I tried to unlock. They wanted me to pay £90 for the key. The room smelled bad. It’s a guest house for people with no standards ”

”couldn’t fault it. lovely clean room, good food , outside area very well maintained and plenty of parking. would stay again.”

”Brilliant view to the roof of the hotel with a massive cooling fan making noise all night. Not so nice actually. Restaurant is complicated and for a tourist a bit uncomfortable. The staff doesn't really make contact with you and you don't know when to order, where to order, how to pay etc. It's a time machine. Stuck somewhere in 90's /2000. But clean at least and location is nice.”

”Had to request bath towels as they didn’t leave any and when I requested some I got told we didn’t need bath towels as we didn’t have a bath in our room we had a shower !!!!! No bedding for the sofa bed as we didn’t request any!!”

”The room we had should be decommissioned. We were a group of 4. It turns out the room only accommodates 3 (The photos of that specific room show 3 beds: a double and two singles = 4 bodies. We were two adults and two children). I’d argue they should only rent out to singles, as in one single person per room.
