”Beautiful views and plenty of space in this lakeside house and cottage. There were 6 of us and the space was perfect. Even though the weather didn't cooperate we made the best of it. Lots of games and fun! Loved the porches for our morning coffee. Living area was nice and cozy with plenty of seating. We hope to return in better weather to take advantage of the private dock and firepits. Thanks for sharing with us!”

”We had beautiful week. Nice cabin. The screen porch overlooking the lake was great. Owner was very nice. There was nothing in listing about bedding not provided. Pictures were taken with bedding on the beds. A Dock would have been huge plus. Very good value for the price.”

It was cute and quiet, the owners were so welcoming and kind — eggs from their hens, some wood to make a campfire, a path to the river to explore…if you have kids, there’s a fabulous ice cream shop nearby with a fire truck you can sit in (it also has a slide!). Crystal Lake is nearby, and the cabin is located between Jay Peak and Burke Mountain, so it’s really great for outdoor enthusiasts. The cabin is on a quiet street with a sidewalk, which my toddler loved for riding...

”This was our first VRBO booking and we couldnt ask for a better place to stay! The house is beautiful and more than comfortable and so clean. We loved the yard and the outdoor fire pit while enjoying tubing in the snow! A perfect getaway! Close to downtown grocery store, bakery, pizza and gas- adorable town. We will definitely book The Copper Mouse again and next time for a longer getaway! It was the greatest experience making the best memories. Thank you again.”

”Cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and had all the cooking supplies we needed! Older community for sure so glad we had a low key intention for our weekend. The best part was the private beach that only a few others were using at the same time so it felt like we had it all to ourselves! We would absolutely stay here again!”

We absolutely loved going to the lake as well as heading out for hiking, biking, and otherwise enjoying the area. There was also more than enough room on the actual property for us (a group of seven, including kids) to play and relax. The hosts were incredibly nice, helpful, and communicative.
