”My husband and I took a quick overnight trip in Greenport for our anniversary. Hotel was great for us, we had a beautiful room, pet friendly, we had our dog with us. It was just after Labor Day so the town was very quiet. ”

”Barons Cove Inn is very well located i.e. walkable to pretty much everything. It’s also charming, somewhat quirky, clean, comfortable, has very nice room amenities and internet access, a friendly attentive staff, a nice bar and restaurant, a lovely pool, is waterfront and has a great front porch with rockers. What’s not to like? We’ll definitely be making return visits. ”

”Looking for a relaxing summer get away and this didn't disappoint. Beautiful property on the water. Beach was clean and chairs and umbrellas provided. Staff was super professional and accommodating. Outside bar and restaurants, no need to leave the property. Surrounding area was quiet and close drive to the town of Essex. ”

”The room was fine, although the a/c unit was a bit loud. I think it might be on its way out -- may need to be replaced. We stayed 2 nights. Our first night was a bit rough as other guests around us were a bit loud and there was a dog barking a lot. Car doors were slamming and people were very noisy going up and down the stairs to the upper floors. The stairs were close to our room. Our second night was a lot quieter and nicer. We would consider staying again if we need to come to...

”Really nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.”
