Small rooms and noisy
Extremely noisy so you will hear every sound from corridor or other rooms. Full of pensioners and sleeping is hard after 5am when they start to take showers. The room was super small (about 6 m2) and stuffy. This hotel was stylish perhaps in 70's.

Ok hotel
Hotel is in beautiful location by the shore, the view from the dining room was impressive. Perhaps other rooms had view on the shore, ours was for the dining room. Location as in Broadford does not have much to offer, though... Room was ok, good value for the price but noisy, you could easily hear other guests walking upstairs, floors were squeky. Wifi only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms, which was a big minus.

Helpful and nice staff, but terrible room
The hotel needs a renovation. The condition of the rooms literally got my wife crying. Melancholic view to the wall of next building. Full and crowded parking lot. The toilet didn't flush. Broken furniture. Very limited conveniencies in the rooms. Worn condition with 70s or 80s style. Small & uncomfortable beds. The price was still on the same level with the best B&Bs in Fort Williams. Staff was helpful and kind and the breakfast was good. Also the location is ok as it is by a loch, but there are only few rooms with a view. The service is good, but the facilities for us were just so limited and broken that we hoped we'd stayed elsewhere.

Loved the place. Didn’t explore the area at all since we arrived late, left early and it was raining the whole time we were there. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Great staff. Great food in the restaurant.

The area is beautiful, the rooms left much to be desired, the hotel would benefit from some air fresheners in the room as it smelled super stale and musty. The bed unfortunately was like sleeping on a stack of newspapers. The pillows were very hard. All in all, we are sleep deprived and it has unfortunately taken away from this next lag of our trip. A new mattress, pillows and and air fresher would make all the difference for your future guests.

The hotel does need updating. The staff was wonderful, especially Alex. He helped us navigate out of a transportation bind we got ourselves into. There is not much to do in the village but it is quaint.

Staff were rude and disinterested in their guests. Absolutely no parking available even for check in. The floor in the bathroom had damage under the floor covering to the point we had to step over it to get to the sink and around it to get in the shower to keep from falling through. Would never stay here again. Don’t eat breakfast-food was terrible. This place is bad news.

Liked that could get a room at last minute. Desk clerk helped with opening window to cool down room. Room was too hot and stuffy. Knew getting a small room didn’t realize how small. Didn’t feel like got moneys worth. Staff was very accommodating

The hotel interior is a bit outdated, but ended up feeling homey. Our room was comfortable and clean. Great local selections in the bar and the dinner we had there was great! Breakfast was standard buffet level, but they had lots to select from. Well located in town and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The parking was not great. We finally got a spot because someone was leaving but if they did not the parking would have been a really issue. Food was average but the people were wonderful and very helpful. Would go again

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser, jedoch hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Innenhof. Das Restaurant hat einen tollen Ausblick, aber das Essen war leider nicht zu unserem Geschmack.

The king-size bed was horrible - we could not sleep and had a back ache the next morning. As a hotel, if you can’t provide a comfortable bed, everything else is fluff that doesn’t really matter. Staff were not friendly at all. The restaurant across the street, which we thought was wonderful due to its close proximity, had a very rude staff/owner that made us feel very unwelcome. Would not recommend, to anyone, to stay here ever!! Hotel needs to be updated with new mattresses first and foremost - then start working on staff and hospitality.

The bar area was relaxed and spacious with good views and atmosphere. A good base for touring the island. Hotel is a little tired in places but didn't detract from our stay. Breakfast was straightforward but sufficient. Would consider staying again.

A cheap, comfortable option for those on a budget. There was a Co-op next door to pick up some cheap eats/wine etc. Bar and food prices at the hotel were a bit steep I felt. No real criticisms of the hotel itself. And our ocean view from our room was one of the best hotel views we’ve had.
