”While the room was a bit small, the location was great. You can walk to almost any of the many old-town attractions. There is a decent restaurant/bar below the hotel. The staff was all very friendly. And, as a bonus, there is free secure parking on the lot just behind the hotel (you enter through a gate that goes under the 2nd floor). It's a bit loud until 11:00 (on the weekend) and then very quiet afterward. Despite the crowded room, we loved it and would go back. ”

”This was a lovely place to stay for a few days as we visited family and did some touristy trips. Even tho' this was above a tavern and in an area with other bars and restaurants, it was very quiet. Our room was very quaint, the staff were exceptional, the food was wonderful, the breakfast was very good. We had easy street parking. Our room was clean - tho' very small. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.”

”This property was the Center of local life as evidenced by the largely full parking lot. Owner operating Staff was friendly and accommodating however worked. Very good value! I would definitely stay here again if for no other reason that it was an authentic British experience!”

”Pieni majatalo, jonka alakerta toimii paikallisena pubina. Rakennus on vanha, ja se näkyy varustelutasossa. Ikkunoita ei pystynyt avaamaan eikä varsinaista ilmanvaihtoa ollut. Huone oli aika viileä ja sängyn peitto ei ollut ihan riittävän leveä kahdelle. Aamiainen oli herkullinen, keittiömestari kokkasi sen asiakkaan toiveiden mukaan (munia, pekonia, tai esim. full english... ym.)”

”The room was very clean and modern and at least our room was spacious. Great amenities. The location of the hotel is pretty good since it's really close to the Farringdon tube station. The only small minus were the pub guests who were standing outside the pub on Thursday and Friday nights and making some noise. However that was only until midnight. Saturday the pub closes early. Over all a very pleasant stay! Very friendly and helpful staff :) Thank you!”

”This is a great place to stay. The rooms were motel style so open the door straight outside which was perfect as we had our 5month puppy with us. Dog friendly too, could take her into the pub. On arrival, in our room was a dog bed, two dog bowls, dog towel and a doggy welcome pack - great touch. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed. Good Wi-Fi (free), smart TV and a small fridge which was useful. The room was clean and tidy and despite being on a main road, it was quiet overnight. The...

”Valittiin hotelli hyvän sijainnin takia Royal Mile-lla vanhassa kaupungissa. Edinburghin tärkeämmät nähtävyydet sekä ostoskadut ovat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Läheltä löytyy myös runsaasti vierailun arvoisia ravintoloita. Hieman hämmennystä aiheutti hotellin reception alakerran pubin tarjoilutiskin toisessa päässä.
