”I went for a Baha'i pilgrimage and this place was prime location as well as affordable. Views off the Shrine of the Bab from the windows with city views. I was anxious about using Whats app and a room overseas and as soon as I landed and connected to wifi I already had texts reaching out and giving instructions for self check in. Other reviews state its in a bad neighborhood but I walked all over Haifa for two weeks almost. Even the "nice" areas, just walk three minutes in any direction and...

”The Michel House is. a beautiful place just on the edge of the old city. It has been renovated with modern amenities but still holds the original feel. The view from the rooftop is spectacular. The manager and the owner were very kind and welcoming. The hardest part was getting there through the city and the parking. But since it it in the center of the city, I guess that is to be expected. ”This is very much a hidden gem. It was like a little oasis. We especially enjoyed the pool, hottub and jacuzzi. The place was very clean and the area very quiet. The host was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.”
