I booked my room months in advance in preparation for my trip to Istanbul for surgery. I selected a room with a fridge for my home cooked meals post surgery so I would not have to leave my room unless necessary. I also made sure to book a room with a king bed for my partner, who is a large body builder, and myself with a TV in front of the bed so I can relax and recover in bed to give me some entertainment while staying in bed all day. However, when I got to the hotel, they had given our room away and had no other availabilities. I was given a room with no tv in front of the bed, just a wall, and a small DOUBLE sized bed where we couldn’t fit comfortably for sleeping and my poor partner had to sleep on the uncomfortable sofa. We discussed with management numerous times over the course of the days we were there. We were told they have no availability and that there’s no rooms that have a king bed, with tv and a fridge, no new room. All the information and photos are wrong on the Expedia website. Unfortunately this caused me to check out early and I didn’t get to enjoy the rest of my days in Turkey I was supposed to. I got clearance from my doctor I could fly back home safely and that’s what i immediately did. Expedia has tried contacting the party for my partial refund for the days there we spent absolutely uncomfortable. It’s been weeks and we still did not receive a response. Do not waste your vacation or money on this property. This is not how a business should be ran.

DIRTY BED SHEET INEFFICIENT HOTEL STAFF
My daughter and son in law checked in into Wanda Vista Istanbul on 1st jan 2024. The bedsheet was dirty with yellow stain. They called the reception 4 times and they also went down to the reception twice. But nobody came to change the bedsheet. We checked out and booked into Hotel JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea. The service in JW Marriott was superb. I wrote to hotels.com for a refund I was not given any refund. We also supposed to stay in Wanda Vista Istanbul from 6th to 10th Jan which we cancelled as the hotel is the dirtiest hotel we ever stayed, and again we did not get any refund. This hotel is not fit for human stay. And the staffs are also not efficient and unhelpful.

Otel konum olarak çok iyiydi ,oda dizaynı harika. Restoran ve resepsiyon personelleri çok kibardı fakat Housekeeping sabah 10.00 ve 11.00 de daha çıkış yapmamışken odaya girmek istedi , biz çıkış yapınca size rapor verirler dedik ama işim var envanter tamamlayacağım dedi çok hoş olmadı. Genel olarak yine tercih ederim.

front desk staff is amazing. unfortunately; hotel is way out of the city, far to everywhere other than the airport. so close to a major highway and the noise is serious if you not on higher floors. Cleaning is one day ok one day not depends on the staff that day. majority of the guests are the surgery recovering patients from the closest hospital, so the breakfast room is like a hospital unit. the area has major traffic problems so it really is not a practical location for those who wants to enjoy beautiful Istanbul.

Beautiful hotel, really clean, great breakfast. Kids play room was an added bonus and huge rooms. Definitely will only be staying here in the future when I visit Istanbul. Tried many others hotels nearby and none were as nice as this hotel. Can't fault anything.

The hotel has extremely unreliable wifi service. The service went down for hours on multiple days and there did not appear to be any sense of urgency to restore it. When I called the front desk to ask about it, the desk agent Emir actually hung up on me! Despicable customer service!!

Stayed here due to hosp procedure. Hotel clean and room spacious and very comfortable, tv, lounge area and kitchen facilities & fridge but no plates cutlery etc.however overlooking busy noisy motor way . Disappointed outside Pool was closed due to winter season (early oct) weather was still nice. Was hoping to relax their annd Inside pool shallow and cold. Gym area great . Breakfast was ok, reasonable selection of food. Ideal hotel for hosp procedure. Outlet 212 10 min walk and mall of Istanbul 5-10 drive away was fab. Overall it was a pleasant stay apart from traffic noise.
