”Great except for one thing - they were closed from 3 to 5 in the afternoon with no way of getting a key to our room. It would be useful if they could devise a system so that keys are available in this critical time in the afternoon so that people can gain access to their room and relax before the facilities open at 5 PM. Other than the above, all was excellent. ”

”We enjoyed everything at the hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but I didn't mind that too much - it added to the charm because everything worked absolutely fine (shower, TV, kettle). The dining room is very grand and the food exceptional. The staff in the restaurant were super. Most of the staff elsewhere in the hotel were very good and welcoming. However, the service at the bar was the weakest point. I think maybe the woman was just having a bad day but she a) didn't know how to make the...

”Room: 😃 excellent cleanliness, dramatic scenic view, well designed and kept, bigger size than usual (specially the bathroom), unique features - The double shower…wonderful - the noise of the sea from inside the room…very relaxing. 😐 no toothbrush and paste provided, which based on my experience, typically hotels do. Although the noise of the sea from inside the room (door closed) can be relaxing, it can also give you trouble to sleep if you are noise sensitive - note when we have been there...

”Overall the stay went well, although the room did not meet expectations after seeing pictures, with it feeling worn and in need of refurbishment, and the car park full of pot holes. You could also hear guests in other rooms, especially as they flushed toilets, used the shower, and made noise. Staff were friendly and inviting and beds comfortable. I would mark it more within 3.5 stars than the advertised 4 star. ”
