I booked for five nights, and before my checkout on Saturday morning, I spoke with the guy at the front desk on Friday night to ask if I could extend my stay for two more nights. He checked his computer and said it was possible.
The next morning, while I was out on business, the hotel called me and told me I had to check out that day. They asked when I could come back to clear the room. I explained the situation to the lady on the phone, and she said, “Oh, sorry, but we already gave your room to someone else.” I told her that wasn’t my problem — I’m their current guest. How can they tell me to come back and check out for someone who isn’t even a guest yet? It would’ve been easier to ask the new guest to find another room rather than inconvenience a current one.
They handled the situation very poorly and unprofessionally. I definitely won’t be staying there again. Also, the shower drain was clogged and didn’t drain properly — water built up to about two inches in the shower. Lastly, they kept calling every morning for the salon, even though I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door.
