”Breakfast was a lovely experience. Food is excellent and the space is pretty allows conversation amongst guests. Owner is warm and funny and accommodating.”

”Tom and Sue are excellent hosts. If you love American history, this is the place to stay. The house is very well appointed with historical artifacts. It is a great jumping of point for all that Williamsburg (and Yorktown/ Jamestown) has to offer. We stayed 4 nights and it was well worth it. Breakfast was great every morning. I loved that Tom (and Sue, when she was available) would sit with us at breakfast. They are great conversationalists.”

”Beautiful property! I can see why they have such a high rating. Excellent breakfast and staff with very clean rooms. John is the best. Location is super convenient to historic areas and is a great home base for Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown. We highly recommend The Whitehouse and want to thank them being top notch hosts!”

”My wife and I had to leave quite early in morning, so we thought that we would miss the "breakfast" part of our B&B stay. Not so. Josh went above and beyond, getting up early to give us a delicious, beautifully plated breakfast. Sausage and eggs, fruit bowls, coffee and tea. A great way to start our early day and a great way to end our stay.”

”Beautiful B&B, great breakfast and friendly staff. Convenient to William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg. Only issue, as with many old homes, walls/floors a bit thin, so we could hear other guests moving around and road noise out front. Available ice and water would be a nice standard perk.”

”Upon arriving we were greeted so graciously by the two girls from Pennsylvania I have misplaced their names in my head everything was a bit available the chocolates the lovely cookies the coffee the wine bar the room was beautiful the beds were lovely we had a stellar time and will definitely be back thanks again Hornsby house and we sure did enjoy ourselves”
