”Useful hotel stay for a single night whilst in the area. Didn’t spend lots of time there. Limited vegetarian / vegan breakfast options We stayed in mid June and noticed lots of moths throughout the property.”

”I had an okay stay, it was only a one night. The room was clean. The building itself is very old so that can be seen in the corridors and public spaces, and the location of the hotel is not the best as you need a cab to go basically anywhere. In total I give 3/5.”

”The room was clean, comfortable and painted in the newer design, it was a great base for exploring Legoland Windsor. London, Chessington, and Thorpe park are all within an hour also. We live up north and look for hotels in close proximity to Merlin attractions with our passes. At £47 per night with free parking this hotel didn’t disappoint. There’s only a vending machine here (no bar or cafe), however there is ample tea coffee and towels in reception upon request and can order takeout if need...

”I have stayed at this location several times and found the staff to be exceptional. Food quality was good and we enjoyed drinks from the bar. The only issue is the public parking which I found confusing to my expense. The manager as well as Kelly and Sahar were helpful and friendly.”

”The property is very well looked after & staff are fabulous. Ellie in the morning at both breakfasts and our check in & out was great. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We ate both times at the pub, breakfast & dinner, I think the menu is too big which led to some inconsistent dishes being serviced. Breakfast first day had no toast but on the second day had toast. 2 hash browns second day but 1 first day. Little things like this don’t mean much but breakfast is the last...

”Room felt very warm and, despite asking at Reception before we went out for the evening for it to be adjusted, it didn’t seem any cooler when we returned. Nice, smart hotel in convenient location but I did not feel comfortable with the security, or rather the lack of it. Rooms are accessible directly from the bar and restaurant areas with no need to show or swipe a room card to gain access. If I were travelling alone this would be a huge issue for me and would make me want to go elsewhere.”

”Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.”

”From the photos of the rooms I had seen, I was prepared for a rather boring, average room, so I was very pleasantly surprised when the room turned out to be very stylish and charming. The fabrics were of lovely and of good quality and there were antiques as well as modern touches. The bathroom was spacious and had really nice granite and large porcelain tile. ”This is the second time I have stayed here, and we will be back. Staff are really lovely and very helpful, rooms have everything you need, are very clean and comfortable. We have stayed in other hotels nearby that are more expensive and nowhere near as good. Would highly recommend.”
