”This place is just FUN! The decor and vibe are just right for the neighborhood and made our visit to tour Northwestern University completely delightful. It is super close to downtown and also just a short (less than 5 minutes) walk to Northwestern. The staff are wonderful and the property is historically beautiful.

”Not a great stay, unfortunately. While the location is nice, the hotel looks a bit dated - the full-floor carpeting or something else causes the place to smell mouldy. My shower only had one mode, which was a hard spray, and my toilet clogged up twice in a 3 day stay.”

”This B&B is absolutely worth visiting due to the breakfast. If you are tired of those standard hotel breakfasts visit this place and you'll be happy. Rooms are rather normal and the general spaces are full of "collector's" stuff, don't let that disturb you (ok the weightlifter statue might get the cr** out of you if you stay in the room next to that) .. breakfast is the thing why you come here (you'll get a 5* breakfast in this place). Staff is extremely nice (enjoyed discussing with them a lot)...

A lot of people myself included trying to fill our water bottles from the glass cooler is by the front desk.
