”My granddaughter and I stayed one night recently when we came to see Laura Ignalls birthplace. The tiny Alden house was perfect for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable and what I always like it had a ceiling fan.Chuck,Elan, Oscar and the chickens were great hosts. Chuck and Elan were very kind in leaving a gift for my granddaughter. Thank you for our nice stay at your tiny house .”

”The cabin was everything we needed for the weekend. Nicely stocked with useful things and great for morning coffee on the deck or watching TV on a rainy afternoon. Will consider renting again.”

”I was looking for a place to stay near Liberty Tree Farm that had a nice kitchen for food preparation. Banner Cottage had a well-equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed the back deck and browsing through the many shops in Stockholm! The earplugs that were made available by the property manager were much appreciated with the nearby train tracks. ”Loved it. We love Frontenac and the surrounding area. You can hike to the state park from the cabin (3.5 miles to point no point) We Kayaked, Hiked and even did a winery tour at Villa Bellezza in Pepin. Our Host was conscientious and helpful. On our first night we blew a fuse and the refrigerator was out, Randy came over at 7:30 the next morning with a bag of ice (in case he couldn't mend the fridge) and even some of his homemade maple syrup. ”We really enjoyed our stay for St Olaf Graduation for immediate and extended family. The house was well stocked and allowed for family dinners and cake and champagne after commencement. It worked out so well for our family and graduate’s friends to stop by. ”

”This was the perfect little oasis in town to get away with my daughters! We loved the eclectic Bohemian style and the clawfoot tub definitely a highlight! We visited the Laura ingalls Wilder museum and cabin unenjoyed exploring the beautiful pond and willow trees across the way. We enjoyed breakfasts on the back patio. With all the greenery around us, we felt like we were the woods. It was very quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.”
